Eric Carlson Biography

Eric Carlson is a shareholder in Carlson & Carlson, P.C., located in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Eric Carlson has successful trial experience in cases involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, automobile accidents and FELA matters. He has tried cases in State and Federal Courts in Illinois and Missouri.
Mr. Carlson has served on the Board of Managers and Board of Advocates for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He was also recognized as a finalist for Trial Lawyer of the Year in 1998 for his outstanding efforts in the successful challenge of the 1995 Illinois Tort Reform Act in Best v. Taylor Machine Works, Inc and Isbell v. Union Pacific. 179 Ill.2d 367, 689 N.E.2d 1057 (Ill. 1997). The Carlson law firm represented Mr. Best and the Family of Steven Kelso in these groundbreaking cases.
